qaleFoam image

qaleFoam couples the QALE-FEM with interFoam using the domain decomposition approach. It takes the advantage of the QALE-FEM on wave generation and propagation in large field and the advantage of the interFoam on resolving small-scale viscous and turbulent effects and wave breaking, which cannot be dealt with by the potential theory based QALE-FEM.
